Outdoor Education

Explore nature the way it was meant to be experienced: outdoors. Camp Wartburg’s Outdoor Education program is a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning. Whether you are interested in a day-only field trip or an overnight adventure, our staff is excited to help you get started. Public and parochial classes of students visit Camp Wartburg as an extension of their classroom studies and are able to learn about animal habitats, watersheds, lake ecosystems, tree/animal/insect identification and more. The hands-on study of nature validates what is studied in the classroom.

Camp Wartburg offers a plethora of reasonably priced activities for your group. Some of our activities can be self-directed, while others require certified staff. See our activities page for more information. Camp Wartburg is flexible and accommodating. Create your own schedule or if you need assistance, give us a call. Provide your desired activities, and we will create a schedule for you.
